This project showcases a playful, flat art illustration designed for a hypothetical travel magazinecover. By using Adobe Illustrator, I focused on using organic vector shapes to depict the energy of the ocean and the character of the surfing elephant. The design balances a minimalist flat style with detailed editorial content, showcasing a complete workflow from character illustration to final print ready layout.
This rebranding project modernized the visual identity of Himara, a legacy family owned ice cream cone manufacturer in Sri Lanka, to better resonate with contemporary consumers. By replacing an outdated, complex logo with a simplified icon and custom ice cream inspired typography, I created a more recognizable brand presence that stands out on crowded retail shelves. The final design utilizes a vibrant color palette and festive balloon imagery to transform the packaging into a fun, celebratory experience tailored for families, while still honoring the brand's nostalgic roots. From initial conceptual sketches to final 3D mockups, this refresh provides a cohesive design system that positions Himara as a modern household staple.
Sniffaly Time is a motion graphic title sequence created for a children's television show centered on the lives of pets. Developed as a university project, this piece focuses on capturing the playful and energetic spirit of children's programming through a cohesive animation style. The production involved a complete design to motion workflow, where all vector assets were custom designed in Adobe Illustrator and then brought to life in Adobe After Effects to demonstrate technical proficiency in both asset creation and motion design.
